Tom Brady
President & Head Coach
Thomas Brady is driven by his personal mission to ignite inspiration through enthusiastically coaching people around the world by discovering the simple truths in our passions that enable us to fulfill our need for purpose and reach for our dreams.
In 1994, Tom began to develop a part-time executive coaching and consulting practice, which became full-time and named The XLR8 Team in 1996.
As President and Head Coach of The XLR8 Team, Tom has coached and facilitated individuals and teams from “customer” areas to the boardroom. Tom has worked with three “Top 100 companies to work for”, Wegmans Food Markets, Pella, and VHA, as well as Corning, Retirement Living Services, Rochester City School District, and Konzepte (Germany), and has made presentations at numerous local and national conferences on teamwork and leadership development.
Tom began his professional career at Park Ridge Health System in 1976 as a clinical social worker. As President of Park Ridge Chemical Dependency, Mental Health, and Long Term Care Companies, he helped build Park Ridge from $20 million to $200+ million. In 1991, he inaugurated the “Quest for Quality”, Park Ridge’s organizational change and TQM initiative.
Tom holds an MSW/CSW/ACSW from Syracuse University and a BS in business administration from RIT. He has also taken course work toward an MBA at RIT.
Tom's accomplishments include:
- Past Board member and officer of Project Intervention
- Past Board member of The Mental Health Association
- Past Board member of New York State Council on Alcoholism
- Past Board member of The Association for Quality and Participation Healthcare Consortium Greater Rochester/Industrial anagement Council Partnership for Quality (Founding chair)
- Served on the Governor’s committee to create a health care category for the Excelsior award, New York’s Quality Award.
- Current and founding Board member and former Steering Committee member of The Greater Rochester Quality Council
- Recently appointment to the Greater Rochester Health Commission, Quality and Access Committee.
- Founding and lifetime member of Coachville.com.
